Kayla Ireland is the office manager, in charge of emails, marketing, reviewing documents and our all around multitasker for our office needs. She is co-founder/co-host of “The Inside Scoop of Living with Cerebral Palsy” with Marci and another fellow friend with CP, Catrina James. The primary purpose is to spread awareness by interviewing professionals involved in evaluation and treatment, and other individuals who live with CP globally of all ages. They discuss the similarities and wide range of differences they experience despite having a common diagnosis. The reason Kayla suggested the title is because this diagnosis does not stop them from living a fun and fulfilling life! She is a co-author of “Living with Cerebral Palsy” led by Kyle Scott where "each story will pull at your heartstrings and leave you feeling equally inspired by its resilience, honesty and sheer determination". She is also a member of CT State Student Disability Council as a student of CT State Community College working towards an Associate’s degree in Business Administration. Kayla is the communication assistant and a dedicated member of many committees for her Professional Association of Therapeutic Horsemanship certified center where she is an avid and experienced horseback rider who focuses on para dressage since 2017. When she’s not working, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, playing games, riding the quad and snowmobile, swimming, and cheering her sisters on as they both are dancers. As you see, Kayla is a happy, motivated, and an active, vibrant, former female client of Marci’s, with cerebral palsy and epilepsy, a wheelchair user for most of the day who defied the odds.
